These online recordings will provide pediatricians and family physicians with up-to-date clinical information on a wide range of clinical issues encountered in daily pediatric practice. Structural racism is one of the most pervasive and impactful social paradigms in modern life, and often works in tandem with systems of inequality, driving social factors that adversely affect child health.  Understanding the influence of racism on these unjust systems can aid the academy in narrowing these disparities, and assist pediatricians in effectively advocating for justice in healthcare and society. Using kidney health disparities as a model, we will explore how child health professionals can examine their own scholarship to identify targets for mitigating health inequities, and improve the health of children and families in their community.
