These online recordings will provide pediatricians and family physicians with up-to-date clinical information on a wide range of clinical issues encountered in daily pediatric practice. Thyroid disease presents with unique features in pediatric patients. Recent discoveries have led to a greater understanding of thyroid disease etiology and behavior that should be considered in the evaluation and management of patients with hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer. This presentation provides a review on contemporary data with pragmatic recommendations on how to apply these recent discoveries into clinical practice.
