Overview
This free course explores the potential of social media as a space that can be used to enhance students’ experience in Higher Education/University. It examines how students can take advantage of platforms such as Facebook, X (previously known as Twitter) and WhatsApp to engage and connect with fellow students and build their networks. It also examines the common pitfalls and uses case studies to provide practical advice on how students can manage the risk they are exposed to. This course will be of interest to all students who wish to use social media safely as part of their Higher Education experience.Â
