Overview
Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Nursing Grand Rounds Happy 100th Anniversary to Insulin! Diabetes Update 2021, 4/21/2021 8:00:00 AM - 4/21/2024 9:00:00 AM, Diabetes is a common and complex chronic illness. Nurses care for patients with diabetes in all settings. As we mark the 100th anniversary of the discovery of insulin, we look to a future of improved diabetes care. This presentation will refresh nurses on the fundamentals of diabetes care and provide updates on new medications and technology.

At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss recent updates in new medications and technology that are designed to enhance the care and clinical outcomes of people living with diabetes.
