Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Nursing Grand Rounds Education and Practice Partnerships in Nursing Education: The Capstone Experience in the RNBS Program at CSC, 12/14/2020 8:00:00 AM - 12/14/2023 9:00:00 AM, Senior year is an exciting time for all Colby-Sawyer nursing students, including registered nurses who are enrolled in an RN-BS program (RNBS). During the capstone experience, RNBS students work side-by-side with faculty, nurse mentors, and other Interprofessional colleagues to address topics that are significant to nursing and to health care in general. Join us as we learn from two of Colby-Sawyer Colleges RNBS students as they present their capstone course projects on incorporating social determinants of health into diabetes education at the time of discharge and the timing of a case management initial assessment to improve patient outcomes.

At the conclusion of the learning activity, participants will be able to discuss the unique experiences of two undergraduate RNBS students in a practice-based learning experience.
