Overview
Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Nursing Grand Rounds Caring for Victims of Non-fatal Strangulation, 10/15/2021 8:00:00 AM - 10/15/2024 9:00:00 AM, Non-fatal intimate partner strangulation is a dangerous and potentially fatal event and is being diagnosed in increasing numbers. Nurses and other health care clinicians receive minimal training in the identification and response to non-fatal strangulation. Join us as we learn more about non-fatal intimate partner strangulation and the associated risk factors this presents for negative health outcomes including increasing womens risk of being murdered by a partner.

At the conclusion of this learning activity, (at least 75% of) participants will be able to discuss the plan of care for patients who have experienced non-fatal strangulation.
