This introductory course is directed to people who are interested in exploring and reflecting about cultural diversity, a trendy topic whose importance has increased within the last decades mainly in education, politics and trade among other areas. Developing multicultural competencies is basic for professionals whose main objective is to work with people with different cultural backgrounds. For taking this course, it is not necessary to have previous knowledge about culture. All the materials used in this course are in English. Therefore, it is necessary to have an intermediate level of proficiency in order to fulfill the activities presented through the course. The materials include videos, interviews, supplementary readings, reflecting writings and self-evaluations.
