Overview

  • Module 1: Do you want to know how to post consumption of materials and resources to a job? In this module, you'll learn how to post consumption by using a job journal, a job G/L journal, or from a purchase line.

    • In this module, you will:

    • Post usage from a purchase document.
    • Enter time sheets.
    • Approve or reject time sheet entries.
    • Post usage through a job journal and job G/L journal.
    • Create job journal lines from job planning lines.
    • Use items with serial numbers or lot numbers on jobs.
  • Module 2: Do you want to keep track of updated item costs on jobs? This module explains how to update usage costs in the job ledger entries so that they match actual costs in the item ledger entry.

    • In this module, you will:

    • Learn about the importance of an up-to-date item cost on jobs.
    • Run a batch job to update the item cost on jobs.
  • Module 3: Do you want to invoice customers for a job? This module explains the options for creating and posting sales invoices for jobs.

    • In this module, you will:

    • Invoice a job to a customer.
    • Invoice job planning lines.
    • Issue a credit memo for a job.
