Overview

  • Module 1: Your organization has migrated many workloads to Microsoft Azure, and you now intend to migrate to a hybrid Exchange environment. You need to consider the choices for a hybrid environment while keeping your infrastructure secure. You’ll plan the migration process to ensure that it’s as straightforward as possible.

    • At the end of this module, you should be able to:

    • Explain hybrid environments.
    • Explain free/busy access.
    • Explain the decision between Classic and Modern hybrid.
    • Describe the Edge server role.
    • Configure organization configuration transfer.
    • Configure hybrid topology.
  • Module 2: Plan a migration from Exchange Server on-premises and other email systems to Microsoft 365 in the cloud.

    • At the end of this module, you should be able to:

    • Choose the best migration methods for a business scenario.
    • Describe migration endpoints.
    • Describe moving mailboxes in batches.
    • Plan a migration from non-Microsoft systems.
  • Module 3: Learn how you can continue to use public folders while your company implements a hybrid environment with Microsoft 365. In a hybrid environment, you need to make choices about where these folders should reside.

    • At the end of this module, you should be able to:

    • Explain public folders.
    • Explain mail-enabled public folders.
    • Describe how to manage hold and discovery in public folders.
    • Describe public folder migration to Microsoft 365.
