Overview

  • Module 1: Explore six principles to guide AI development and use - fairness, reliability and safety, privacy and security, inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability

    • In this module, you will:

    • Describe the importance of engaging with AI in a responsible manner.
    • Identify six guiding principles to develop and use AI responsibly.
    • Describe different approaches to responsible AI governance from experienced executives.
  • Module 2: Learn guiding principles for governments, and how to choose and operationalize a governance system to responsibly and successfully use AI in the public sector.

    • In this module, you will:

    • Determine the elements of an AI governance system.
    • Choose an AI governance model that fits your government’s needs.
    • Approach policy discussions to promote broad development and deployment of ethical AI systems.
  • Module 3: Discover how to translate your organization’s ethical principles into actionable guidance and tools for engineering teams and how AI can improve lives worldwide

    • In this module, you will:

    • Explain how Microsoft provides accountability for responsible AI through a governance structure.
    • Describe how Microsoft risk management processes are used to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.
    • Establish responsible design principles within your own organization.
