Overview

  • Module 1: Find out how to assess efficiency with a value stream map to help you examine your existing release processes and technologies.

    • After completing this module, you'll be able to:

    • Explain the purpose of value stream maps (VSMs)
    • Use a VSM to get a sense of where your release process can be improved
    • Compute the activity ratio, or overall efficiency, of your processes
  • Module 2: Explore Azure DevOps capabilities and get started setting up your own organization knowing what separates elite performers from low performers.

    • After completing this module, you'll be able to:

    • Identify what separates elite performers from low performers
    • List what services Azure DevOps provides
    • Create an Azure DevOps organization
  • Module 3: Learn with the Space Game web team how to use Azure Boards to implement Agile software practices along with DevOps transparency and collaboration.

    • After completing this module, you'll be able to:

    • Define the term Agile
    • Begin to make recommendations for incorporating Agile practices into your organization
    • Create a project in Azure DevOps
    • Add work items to Azure Boards by using the Basic process
  • Module 4: Learn to optimize delivery efficiency by improving work plan visibility across teams.

    • After completing this module, you'll be able to:

    • Describe how delivery plans enable multiple teams to plan, schedule, and coordinate their work
    • Install the Delivery Plans extension for your Azure DevOps project
    • Create a delivery plan and adjust a team's sprint workload to optimize delivery efficiency
