  • Manage images using Amazon Elastic Container Registry (Amazon ECR)
  • Deploy an application using Amazon ECS
  • Configure Amazon EC2 auto scaling group capacity providers
  • Work with Amazon ECS managed scaling
  • Observe scaling by load testing the application

Prerequisites

We recommend that attendees of this course have the following prerequisites:

  • Basic navigation of the AWS Management Console
  • Editing scripts using a text editor

  • Task 1: Review the task definition and Amazon ECR image
  • Task 2: Deploy AnyCookie application using Amazon ECS
  • Task 3: Create Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling Group capacity providers
  • Task 4: Work with Amazon ECS managed scaling
  • Task 5: Add load to test and observe scaling
