Course Description

Overview

Discover how to plan an organisation’s digital transformation journey

What should you consider when planning and executing an effective digital transformation?

On this two-week course, you’ll examine the key factors of a successful digital transformation strategy. From defining a clear scope and managing stakeholders to identifying the right type of transformation for your organisation and choosing your strategic approach, you’ll be guided through each component to ensure your digital transformation is a success.

Explore key factors you need to consider when planning a digital transformation strategy

You’ll learn the difference between digitisation, efficiency and effectiveness, improvements, and digital innovation, and discover what transformation looks like in different organisations. After considering different strategic approaches and reflecting on the opportunities and pitfalls of each, you’ll find out how to identify the right strategy for your organisation using planning frameworks and define the key stages of a transformation plan.

You’ll also explore the role of stakeholder management in driving success. You’ll investigate the importance of developing a shared understanding of what ‘digital’ means, consider the value of stakeholder mapping and management, and discover ways you can gain buy-in.
