Course Description

Overview

Usually, when an organization is funded to deliver a service, they are obligated to deliver that service even if it is ineffective. However, when funding is tied to results, organizations can experiment with new and impactful ways to achieve their outcomes. To deliver impactful outcomes to the communities that you serve you need to think expansively and promote new discoveries. Results-Based Financing can be a powerful tool to achieve that.

This course will help mid-sized NGOs evaluate Results-Based Financing as an option for their organization and plan for this type of funding. In this course, you will learn about the expectations of Results-Based Financing, the various type of Results-Based Financing available, and organizations who have had great success moving to a results focused funding approach.
