Course Description
Overview
In our experience, effective financial management is one of the critical capacities that make organizations more likely to achieve their missions and adhere to their organizations’ and funders’ policies and regulations. Adopting and mastering the use of a few simple financial-management tools and practices can help your team utilize resources more efficiently, build greater trust with your donors and, ultimately, have greater impact.
We created this course for anyone who would like to use project funds more effectively, whether or not the term “financial management” is in their job description. This four-module course introduces tools and processes you can adopt immediately. You will learn how to construct a project budget, analyze your project expenditures, and communicate about project finances across your team.
