Course Description
Overview
All athletes will retire at some point. Most will need a job after their sporting careers end. And all of them have demonstrated the ability to be the best in their field. This course explores how to prepare well for transition from elite sport into a successful career after competition.

This course is introduced by employment professionals and former Olympic athletes, who share their own experiences of career transition.
Introduced by Vincent Defrasne, who won gold in Biathlon at the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin. He retired in 2010 and is actively involved in the IOC’s Athlete Career Programme.
The course will take around 2 hours to complete.
