Explore innovation in the healthcare sciences
The word ‘innovation’ is used a lot in today’s world - but what does it actually mean when it comes to the healthcare sciences?
On this course you will attempt to answer that question, learning about the emerging field of ‘improvement science’ and discovering how improvement science methods can help healthcare scientists identify opportunities for innovation.
You will also learn about the practical side of innovation like creating business cases, project reports and evaluating and disseminating your findings.
This course has been created especially for healthcare scientists. However, the fundamental principles of identifying, planning, evaluating and disseminating service improvement and innovation projects will be applicable to all healthcare professionals.
