Take a data-driven approach to quality improvement in healthcare
This online course from the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) will help you draw together the information needed to understand and improve the quality of care you and your team provide.
You’ll examine both the quantitative and qualitative sources available to you, including clinical incident reports, mortality rates, complaints, staff surveys and feedback from colleagues.
You’ll find out how to collate and interpret this information and use it as part of a quality improvement programme in your setting, in line with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) model for improvement.
This online course is aimed at physicians at all levels in their career, as well as other healthcare professionals who are interested in monitoring and improving care quality.
You may find it useful to upgrade this course to support your continuing professional development (CPD). By upgrading, you’ll be able to take this course at your own pace and revisit the material at any time in future. Once you complete the course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Achievement as evidence of your CPD.
