Everything is Measurable
Offered By: Coursera Project Network via Coursera
Course Description
Overview
Have you ever noticed that we do measurements in our daily lives all the time? All practical human activities bring us to measurements. Time, temperature, dimensions, etc. In this project, you will take a closer look at the basic approaches to the implementation of measurements, and the classification of measurements and errors.
It is interesting that any measurement certainly has an error, or - measurement error. Here the terms "error" or "mistake" do not carry a negative meaning. Within our project you will get to know the algorithm for calculating this kind of error. Using a simple example, you will learn how to estimate the error of measurement, and you will be able to apply this algorithm to any measurements in the future.
