Overview
Dartmouth Health Continuing Education for Professionals Home, Department of Surgery Grand Rounds - Responsible Opioid Prescribing After Surgery, 8/6/2021 8:00:00 AM - 8/6/2024 9:00:00 AM, By collaborating with surgery experts with the intent to change practice in the care of surgical patients, participants will be able to describe and identify a variety of treatment plans/procedures for patients and recognize changes in the clinical practice of surgery describing novel transforming medical advances.

Learning Outcome(s)
At the conclusion of this learning activity, participants will be able to discuss overall responsibility for opioid prescribing; including patient education, number of pills prescribed, and the disposal of unused pills, specifically the Buy Back program at the VAMC.
