Course Description

Overview

In today’s dynamic business landscape, the ability to transform data into actionable business insights is key to the success of organizations in every industry.

In this programme, you will build the foundational skills needed to transform data into informed, actionable business insights. You will develop quantitative decision-making skills through the use of robust business intelligence tools designed to maximize the effectiveness of your organizational strategy and operations across various domains.

The programme focuses on application based learning through real-world case studies and data sets. During this 6-month long programme, you will work with different case studies, studying and interpreting the data sets through statistical methods and machine learning algorithms.

As you advance through this programme, you will be equipped with data-backed decision-making skills and understand data science from the perspective of management roles.

Syllabus

Course 1: Introduction to data management and data pre-processing
- In this course, you will focus on the importance of data when it comes to making intelligent and informed business decisions. You will understand data, its types and perform analyses using the software platform R.

Course 2: Statistics for data science
- This course will help you understand statistics fundamentals to implement data analysis with sound statistical knowledge.

Course 3: Data visualisation and storytelling
- This courses will help you understand and implement Tableau for basic to advanced level data visualisations.

Course 4: Unsupervised machine learning models
- This course will help the learners to implement key in-demand unsupervised learning algorithms.

Course 5: Supervised machine learning models
- This course will help you build strong foundation in predictive models.

Course 6: Classification algorithm
- This course will delve into advanced ML algorithms to help you solve complex business cases.
