Sweetheart Shawls

Description Learn how to knit a lace shawl through three projects and build your knitting skills with fiber arts star Kristin Omdahl. You’ll create delicate, geometric designs based on patterns found in nature, with three included patterns designed by Kristin just for Craftsy. Gardenia Shawl: This cape-style shawl closes at the neck with a button or ribbon. It’s worked from the bottom up with decreases, and adorned with six-pointed flowers that are knit separately and attached to the yoke at the end. Infinity Shawl: Create a rectangular shawl with armholes. Deceptively simple motifs are knit in rows, and assembled separately into infinity symbols. The matching lace border is picked up right onto the motifs and knit outward to create a scalloped edge. Tiered Jasmine Shawl: A top-down, triangular shawl with eyelet sections for picking up and knitting ruffled tiers. Each tier finishes with delicate flower-petal picots.
