Free-Motion Machine Embroidery

Description Take control of your machine and stitch fantastic, creative pieces with Terry White. She will go over the basics on how to trace, stabilize and hoop your design for some embroidery excitement. Learn basic stitches on four practice pieces and carry those skills into your main project: “The Painted Bird.” You will stitch smooth contours to create Terry’s “Mod Flowers.” Then use seed stitching and painterly fill on her “Painted Egg” pattern. She will teach you how to embroider “Springy Flowers” and “Scallop Circle” using vibrant, silk-like rayon threads. When all is said and done, you will have a wide variety of new skills at your disposal to embellish and enrich your quilting and sewing projects. Terry also guides you along the way as you set up your machine and troubleshoot any mistakes.
