To maximize the contribution of organizational members, managers must be able to understand, diagnose, and influence workplace behavior in the context of change. Syllabus

  • Leaders and Organizations
    • This module, you will explore business principles through the captivating example of C&S Grocers. Discover the difference between hands-on and hands-off leadership, unravel the power of the CEE model, and delve into the transformative actions of Rick Cohen and self-managed teams.
  • Power and Influence
    • This module is all about the dynamics of power and influence within organizations. Using the Hollywood film 12 Angry Men as a case study, you will analyze different bases of power and understand the significance of balancing advocacy and inquiry. You will also learn various tactics for influencing others and explore the persuasive techniques of Logos, Pathos, and Ethos.
  • Designing Organizations
    • This Module, you will delve into the case study of Jean-Claude Biver, a prominent figure in the watchmaking industry. You will explore the importance of building, growing, and maintaining organizations. You will also examine the roles of Beacons, Architects, and Change Agents in driving positive change and organizational transformation.
  • Leading Change
    • This module revolves around the Tessei Case Study, where you will explore change strategies and a Change Management Model. You will learn criteria for assessing the effectiveness of change initiatives and explore key factors contributing to successful organizational change.
