Generative AI for Healthcare
Offered By: Google Cloud via Coursera
Course Description
Overview
Specifically designed for healthcare professionals, this course demystifies
generative AI, the latest breakthrough in artificial intelligence, and the large
language models (LLMs) that drive it. Discover real-world applications of generative
AI in healthcare settings and master the art of crafting effective prompts tailored to
your goals.
Syllabus
- Course Introduction
- This module covers the course objectives and provides an overview of the course structure, which is an introduction to generative AI (Gen AI), an introduction to large language models (LLMs) and one hands-on labs.
- Introduction to Generative AI for Healthcare
- This module introduces generative AI, the most recent advancement in AI, and large language models (LLMs), the technology that powers it. It defines artificial intelligence, machine learning, supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and generative AI. It also explores different generative AI development tools on Google Cloud, such as Vertex AI Agent Builder, Vertex AI Studio, and Model Garden. Health domain use cases and data examples are used to demonstrate how Gen AI can be used for healthcare.
- Large Language Models in Healthcare
- This module describes how generative AI and large language models can be used for healthcare. It also describes medical foundation models, explains multimodal LLMs, and explores prompt design for specific healthcare examples.
