Overview
Digital assets form the building blocks of the Decentralized Financial (DeFi) infrastructure. They are expected to be crucial components for financial instruments, taxation, and laws. In this course, we explore digital assets, including stablecoin, tokenization and policies surrounding cryptocurrencies.
Syllabus
- Defining Digital Assets
- In this module, we define digital assets and describe various types. We also explore the digitalization evolution and share the motivation for blockchain-based tokenization.
- Stablecoin
- Stablecoin is a type of cryptocurrency. In this module, we discuss its characteristics and explore stablecoin DAI and its governance token MKR.
- Tokenization of Digital Assets
- In short, a token may be issued as a replacement for a payment method having sensitive data attached to it. In this module, we explore how non-fungible and semi-fungible tokens are used as digital assets.
- Policies & Regulations
- In this module, we focus on policies and regulations pertaining to cryptocurrencies & digital assets.
