Examine the role of spatial planning in the circular transition with TU Delft
The transition to a circular economy is complex and dynamic with no single, definitive approach.
On this one-week course, you’ll meet Alex, Lei, and Arjan, the course instructors. They’ll help you consider how circular your region is and understand the challenges around circularity. Our instructors will also prepare your for the full Spatial Circularity Strategy course series from TU Delft.
Learn about circular planning and design in your region
You’ll look at your region and consider the difference between our contemporary cities and regions and the circular regions yet to come.
You’ll start to think about how to make the transition to a circular economy, and identify the role of spatial planning in the circular transition.
Start to think about spatial circularity strategies
You’ll look at the gaps in your knowledge around spatial circularity strategies for cities and regions, and how you can go about addressing those through this course series.
Find out who will lead the transition to a circular economy
You’ll think about the current and future leaders in the transition toward spatial circularity.
With this knowledge, you’ll start your journey towards an understanding and direct application of Spatial Circularity Strategy, and begin the process of circular transition in your own region.
This course is designed for those working or studying in the field of spatial planning or circularity who wish to connect their understanding of the two concepts.
It will benefit professionals in urban planning, including circularity experts, spatial planners, project advisors, and policy makers on spatial circularity.
