Overview

Placement Level: Eligibility for MATH-542 or higher-level Math course as determined by the Chaffey College placement process. Introduction to the principles of physics and chemistry. Topics include: motion, forms of energy, electricity, magnetism, waves, electromagnetic radiation, atomic structure, bonding, phases of matter, pH and nuclear chemistry, acids and bases, and solutions. Course is recommended for liberal studies majors and future teachers. (C-ID CHEM 140 and PHYS 140) Transfer: CSU; UC
