Advisory: Completion of SOC-10. Social, cultural, and policy issues for an aging society. Diversity in the experience of aging: cultural, economic, gender, and ethnic differences. Age and aging as social constructs. Life-long age status and role expectations. Society's response to an increasingly aged population. May be offered as an Honors course. Transfer: CSU; UC credit limitations
