Overview
Prerequisite: ENGL-1A. The study of argumentation as an oral and written skill with an emphasis on the principles of critical thinking and sound reasoning. Examination of quality and types of evidence, identification of faulty and misleading arguments, and development of techniques for defending and refuting arguments.
