Course Description
Overview
Basic principles of lighting and their application in terms of visual perception, properties of light and color, light sources, luminaires, lighting design process, lighting techniques, elementary calculations, specifications, and documentation for construction. Students learn how to integrate energy-efficient lighting practices, applicable lighting codes, and human-centered design. Written and graphic design documents will be produced. Transfer: CSU
