Course Description
Overview
Placement Level: Eligibility for MATH-25 as determined by the Chaffey placement process. Introduction to the principles of chemistry with an emphasis on measurements, atomic and molecular structure, classification of matter, nomenclature, stoichiometry, chemical equations, gas laws, solutions and acid-base chemistry. Laboratory activities emphasize proper techniques, safety procedures, and experimental exercises in support of lecture content. (C-ID CHEM 101) Transfer: CSU; UC credit limitations
