Elementary French II

Prerequisite: FR-1 or one year of high school French. Continued systematic presentation of language patterns and of the underlying cultural ideas that lead to facility in the four basic skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Reading selections introduce various aspects of life and culture in France and other Francophone communities. This course may also require completion of supplemental assignments. Transfer: CSU; UC
