Course Description
Overview
This course is designed for the beginning students who would like to learn the importance of breath, alignment of postures and relaxation techniques to improve health and fitness of the mind and body. The goal of the course is to improve flexibility, muscle strength, endurance, and coordination through the physical postures of yoga. Introduction to relaxation techniques will be incorporated for stress reduction and mental calm. Transfer: CSU; UC credit limitations
