Overview
Introduction to medical terminology fundamentals for students seeking entry into health-related professions. Application of medical language used to describe the components and processes of the human body, pathologies, surgeries, medical procedures, diseases, disorders and pharmacology. Applied medical etymology including the origin, correct spelling, pronunciation, meaning, and current usage of common medical terms in healthcare settings.
