Overview
This course introduces learners to the concept of openness in education, focusing on the principles, benefits, and challenges associated with it. By the end of the course, students will understand the importance of open educational resources (OER) and open educational practices (OEP) in enhancing teaching and learning. They will also learn how to create, use, and share OER, as well as implement open practices in their educational settings. The course covers topics such as copyright, licensing, and open pedagogy. The teaching method includes readings, discussions, assignments, and practical exercises. This course is designed for educators, instructional designers, and anyone interested in exploring the potential of openness in education.
