Dynamics of Worksite Wellness Evaluation & ROI
Offered By: University of Wisconsin-Extension via Canvas Network
Course Description
Overview
More employers are establishing new or expanded worksite wellness programs to achieve better employee health, productivity, and corporate cost-management outcomes. Naturally, they want to know if, and when, their wellness investment will “break-even” and eventually achieve a positive return on investment (ROI). This course consists of weekly instructional videos, related readings, and activities for individuals interested in worksite wellness evaluation. It is comprised of four sessions that focus on the fundamentals of planning an evaluation; how to identify and gather appropriate data to build an evaluation framework; how to prepare a break-even analysis to determine the financial feasibility of a new wellness program, activity, or policy; and, how to prepare a basic benefit-cost/ROI analysis to determine the financial value of an existing worksite wellness program, activity, or policy.
