Course Description
Overview
Introduces basic recording and music production skills through theory and practice of audio production. Offers hands-on experience recording, editing, and mixing audio for various applications. Covers the fundamentals of signal flow, microphone types and usage, equalizers, and analog and digital recording equipment, including a digital audio workstation (DAW). Provides basic knowledge of applied audio concepts, production workflow, equipment functions, and audio editing software. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
