Principles of Mammography

Course Description
Overview
Studies the theory and practice of mammographic positioning, quality assurance/quality control, and imaging the anatomy and pathophysiology of the breast. Prepares the student in part for the state and national certification exams in mammography. May be offered in a distance-learning format. Limitation on enrollment: CRT or ARRT license or within one year of graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology Program and CPR/Healthcare provider certification.
