Course Description
Overview
Examines the major social and emotional, cognitive/language, and physical developmental milestones for children from conception through adolescence with an emphasis on non-judgmental observation. Substantial writing requirements are appropriate for this course. May be offered in Spanish or in a bilingual format. Corequisite: For sections taught in Spanish or in a bilingual format: concurrent enrollment in an appropriate ESL course required. Transfers to CSU; UC, with limits: ECE 31, 32, or PSYCH 8 combined: maximum credit--1 course. CAB GE D, E, CSU GE D, E, IGETC 4. C-ID: CDEV 100.
