Course Description
Overview
Emphasizes effective strategies for personnel management and the leadership role of the director in early care and education settings. Topics include legal and ethical responsibilities, supervision techniques, professional development, goal-setting, team-building, assessment, record keeping, and reflective practices for a diverse and inclusive early care and education program. Meets the requirements for three units in Program Administration for Social Services Licensing and three of the required six units for the Site Supervisor level of the California Child Development Permit. May be offered in a distance-learning format.
