Interpersonal Communication Skills adapted to remote teams
Offered By: Universitat Politècnica de València via edX
Course Description
Overview
Soft skills are essential in pretty much all current jobs and these complement well the hard skills needed to successfully build talented role-model individuals within an organization.
For remote environments, communicating efficiently is, if anything, even more essential and complex than in an in-house setting. Therefore we aim to help you get the people who are going to be in charge of leading roles fully adapted to perform in remote work settings.
The richness of remote channels, despite their advancements, does not match in-person interactions and requires certain technology interaction skills to convey the closeness that effective teamwork needs, despite the physical distance between participants.
We have structured the learning experience using digital resources, real-world examples, self-assessments by enrolled individuals, and peer feedback to provide a comprehensive 360º overview. This will enable us to create a management action plan based on the acquired skills.
Taught by
