Becoming a Values-Based Leader

The world has seen many notable leaders and in this course from the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business (GSB), you will explore the work of selected leaders to broaden your understanding of different leadership styles; in particular, the characteristics of the values-based leadership style. As you learn from the examples set by others, this course will guide you through the process of developing your own personal values-based leadership profile. Key elements in this process include: understanding your current leadership style, exploring the value of mentorship, investigating your personal values, and identifying practical steps and methods to live your values while leading by example in your leadership environment.
